Though it may appear that this is the river Styx, and someone put two pesetas on your eyes for Charon to guide you to Hades... it's really just another day at Westside Adventures:
Admittedly at my age (and ever declining physical condition) what I deem to be fun for others I wouldn't attempt myself even if I were a ten years younger.
Oh yes-- I hear all you fifty-something triathletes out there mumbling "age is just a number." But for me that number precludes anything more strenuous than yard work (which is pretty strenuous in itself) and I have come to that happy point of realization that my days of adventurous trailblazing are long since over. The very idea of getting on an airplane exhausts me so a tube? In a cave? For how many hours? Is just beyond imagination.
However many of my readers (like my sister-in-law Kaila) challenges like these are a walk in the park, and I have to admit if I thought I could do it, I would be the first to sign-up for one of these marvelous adventures.
One of the things that impresses me about Westside Adventures is their pragmatism. A quick glance at their website immediately shows that they understand travelers like me, when they arrange their adventures from "Easy" to "Extreme," so that would-be adventurers know exactly what they are getting themselves into.
There are way too many options for me to elaborate on all of them here, but it suffices to say a review of their website should inspire the young and adventurous. Most of their tours are within a 2 hour drive of Casa Clara Vista Guesthouse and have a wide range of prices accordingly.
If you have any questions, Westside Adventures encourages you to check-out their FAQs or to contact them by phone at 939-257-6094, Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. They are located at 10 Ave. San Patricio #141702 in Arecibo PR 00614. You can also find them on Facebook. Make sure you tell them ClaraVistaRevista.com sent you and enjoy!!!
